About Scattered Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs or a breadcrumb trail is a navigation aid used in user interfaces. It gives users a way to keep track of their locations within programs or documents. The term comes from the trail of breadcrumbs left by Hansel and Gretel in the popular fairytale.

These are my thoughts on topics related to instructional technology, education, photography, and travel. Thanks for stopping by!

T-Mobile now offers 3G Internet speeds where we live. Thank goodness.

I finally ordered a new camera lens:

Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

It’s a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens that I picked up from Amazon.

I am so incredibly excited for it to get here. It’s not pro glass by any means but it will be a decent walkabout lens for me to mount on my Canon 5d

Canon EOS 5D 12.8 MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)

which I’ve only been able to shoot with using this lens, a Canon 50 mm 1.8 (which is light, fabulous, but extremely limiting in terms of focal length – Peter hates it, he always yells “zoom with your feet, zoom with your feet!”, making fun of the fact that because it’s a prime lens you CAN’T zoom)

Canon - Lens - 50 mm - f/1.8 II - Canon EF

or this lens, the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS (which makes pretty pictures, is super heavy, can’t shoot very close up as it starts at 70mm, and was so expensive I’m scared to take it anywhere).

In completely unrelated news, Houlihan’s now has the coolest dessert – a trio of cupcakes. Yum.
